There are many great spots to stage your photos. My personal preference is outside as I like to be outdoors. You should consider a spot that has some significance to you. In 10, 20+ years the photos will mean a lot more to you if the surrounding area means something special to you
So select a location that means something to you.
- If you were a lifeguard, then let’s head to a pool
- If you were into outdoor theater, head to your outdoor playhouse
- If you were in golf, tennis, soccer, football, head to the venue that started you on that journey
My favorite locations
If you have no preference, then here are some of my favorite locations:
- Kane Woods – hike about 5 minutes from the parking lot on the lower level and some great locations along the stream bed
- Woodville Plantation (Neville House) – lots of great backgrounds here
- South Park – My favorite area is by the South Park Theater, flag retirement area and Boy Scout cabin. Scroll down for some pics

I love the mix of old and nature involved in this park. It has some cool old architecture as well as lots of fields, trees and great settings if your looking for something in the outdoors. My favorite place is around the South Park theater, the Scout cabin and the flag retirement area.
